MANTEO, NC – Frances Curles Davis, 75, of Manteo, NC died Thursday, February 22. Born in Roxboro, NC on October 12, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Hassell Curles and Woodrow Wilson Curles.

Frances is survived by husband, George H. Davis, Jr.; daughters, Angie Miller (husband Fred) and Debbie Ambrose; sons, Troy Narron and Randy Narron (fiancé Rose Martinez); step-daughters, Amy Ray (husband Eugene), Tonja Osborne (husband Fred), and Terena Ludlow; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.

A funeral was held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 26 at Manteo First Assembly with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Elizabeth City.
