The U.S. Coast Guard will establish a temporary safety closure of the marine navigation channel in Oregon Inlet on Wednesday, Feb.28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Work on the Bonner Bridge replacement requires the project contractor PCL Civil Constructors Inc., to close the navigation channel to protect mariners, vessels and construction crews.
The closure notice was posted on NCDOT NC 12 Facebook page and NCDOT.gov website under News Releases. The notice was dated Feb. 26, 2018.
