Registration underway for landscaping and gardening workshop

The Extension Master Gardener volunteers from Currituck, Dare and Perquimans counties are hosting a Tri-County Home Landscaping and Gardening Workshop on Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Currituck’s Center for North Carolina Cooperative Extension, located at 120 Community Way in Barco.

The workshop will feature six speakers, including Master Gardeners, Extension agents, and local garden experts who will cover a range of topics including: Climate Change and Your Plants, Things We Do To Our Trees, Pollinators and Native Plants, Rain Gardens, Butterfly Gardens, and Sustainable Landscape Design.

All informational materials will be provided and lunch will be served.

The workshop is free of charge and all are welcome to attend. Registration for this event is required and must be completed no later than Monday, March 19.
