JARVISBURG, NC ¬- Nick C. Beerli, 68, of Jarvisburg, died Saturday, March 3.  Born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 6, 1949, he was the son of the late Josephine Furlong and Norbert C. Beerli, Sr.

A U. S. Navy veteran, Nick served his country honorably as a Corpsman. Nick was also an accomplished writer.

  Nick was connected to AA and helped many along their journey with sobriety.

  Nick is survived by his son, Nick Beerli of Jarvisburg, NC; and five siblings, Mary, Pat, Marge, Tom and Mike. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Beerli.

The family will hold a private memorial service.
