Dare County Commissioners will host community meetings in Manteo and Buxton this month to provide citizens an opportunity to share new ideas, solutions and suggestions in a casual, open forum.

The Manteo session is scheduled for Monday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Commissioners meeting room located at 954 Marshall Collins Drive. The gathering follows the Board’s regularly scheduled 5 p.m. meeting that day.

The Buxton meeting will be held Tuesday, March 20 at 6 p.m. at the Fessenden Center, 46830 Highway 12.

“The Board of Commissioners is committed to providing opportunities to hear what is most important to our citizens,” said Bob Woodard, Chairman of the Dare County Board of Commissioners. “The community meetings provide a more relaxed setting than our regular meetings and allow people to interact and engage with Board members in open dialogue.”
