All Tyrrell County residents are invited to attend the 4-H Achievement Night at Tyrrell Hall 6-8 p.m. on March 15.

“Come celebrate the work of our 4-H’ers and their leaders,” say event sponsors.

Attendees are requested to bring a covered dish or dessert for dinner. Chicken tenders and drinks will be provided.

Each family attending is also asked to bring a bag of dry dog or cat food to be donated to the Tyrrell County Animal Shelter. Cecil Lilley, animal control officer, will be there to accept the donations.

There will be a presentation on the importance of spaying and neutering pets and adopting from shelters and rescues.

A couple of 4-H’ers will perform a duet and there will award presentations and recognition of 4-H Club leaders and members.

Everyone is invited to attend and share this special occasion for 4-H members and volunteers.

If you plan to attend, please contact Lauren Nelson, Tyrrell 4-H Extension agent, at 252-796-1581 or lauren_nelson@ncsu.edu so adequate arrangements can be made.
