The 1st Annual Spring Swing Pickleball Tournament is sponsored by the Currituck Family YMCA and the Currituck Wild Goose Rotary.

Funds raised from this event will be used to support YMCA youth programs and Currituck Wild Goose Rotary charitable giving to local non-profit organizations such as the Food Bank, Backpack for Kids, etc.

The tournament is set for April 14 at the Currituck Family YMCA, 130 Community Way, Barco.

Registration is set for 8 a.m. and game play from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $40 per team per bracket.

The tournament has three brackets: Men’s Open Doubles, Women’s Open Doubles and Mixed Open Doubles. For each bracket, a limit of eight teams is established. All players are guaranteed 2 games with the double elimination format.

Trophies will be awarded to first and second place in all three brackets for High Flight and Low Flight. Concessions will be available and will include hot dogs, sodas and water, chili, popcorn, chips, a Smoothie Bar, and sweets.
