Olive was a lifetime member of Fair Haven United Methodist Church in Rodan-the. She spent her life in service to her Lord by making herself available in any capacity she could to serve Him. She served as Church Treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and she was an active member of the United Methodist Women. She also enjoyed being part of the Outer Banks Rebekah Lodge for over 40 years.

She loved being with her family, taking trips with her sisters, and dancing at Old Christmas.

Olive was a classy lady, who always strived to see the beauty in life.  A true beauty herself, her joyful attitude was contagious, and her compassion towards others was notorious. She will be sorely missed.
