WANCHESE, NC – Connie Marie Casteel Moldovan, 66, died Saturday, March 24. Born in Republic, PA on December 30, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Bertha Detrick and Willis Casteel.

Connie is survived by her husband, Robert D. Moldo-van; five children, Kimberly Moldovan, Rhonda Sue Moldovan, Robert D. Moldo-van, Jr., Emil Moldo-van, and Heidi Marie Moldovan; ten grandchildren, Emil Robert Moldovan, Holly Marie Moldovan, Woody Dwaine Moldovan, Julia Ann Moldo-van, Joyce Kristen Searles, April Leann Taylor, Catherine Ann Helms, Bran-don Tyler Moldovan, Hannah Noel Moldovan and Ga-brielle Nichole Moldovan; and sixteen great-grand-children. Also, surviving are two sisters, Mary Robbins and Patti Saltsman; and two brothers, Larry Casteel and Roger Casteel.

A funeral will be held at 4:30 pm on Friday, March 30, at Twiford Colony Chapel with Rev. Eric Barn-ett officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
