At a ceremony in the Board of Elections office, four Currituck women took the oath of office as members of the county’s board.

After the swearing in, the board elected as Chair, Democrat Sheila Tyler, as Vice Chair, Republican Karen Ish, and as Secretary, Democrat Jenni Old.
