North Carolina Marine Fisheries Proclamation FF-13-2018 opens the Atlantic Ocean commercial flounder season, sets the harvest window and establishes a 12,500-pound possession limit and a 5,000-pound offload limit.

The proclamation is effective and the fishery opens at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, April 15, 2018.

The fishery will close by proclamation once the annual North Carolina quota is reached or at 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, whichever occurs first.
