ROPER, NC – Sara Romaldia Sadler Midgette, 85, of Roper died Monday, April 2.

Born June 25, 1932 in Tyrrell County she was the daughter of the late Linwood Sadler and Ada Bell Spencer Sadler and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Midgette.

Her family includes her daughter, Carolyn Midgette Barnes and husband Ron of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; sons, Danny Allen Midgette and wife Susan of Lincoln, AL. and Linwood Lee of Pantego, N.C.; brother, Jackie L. Sadler of Washington, N.C.; grandchildren, Dustin Midgette, Allen Fabian, Ronni Sprague and Anna Lee McCarty; great grandchildren, Sidney, Colton, Alliyah, John and Mitchell.

Funeral service was to be held Friday, April 6 at Roper Baptist Church with Howard Simpson and Jim Parrish officiating. Burial  followed at Hillside Memorial Gardens, Plymouth.
