James A. Bailey, known as Jim to friends, is a former Outer Banks resident and advertising representative for The Coastland Times. On May 25, he celebrated his 104th birthday in Walnut Creek, Ohio where he is a resident of Walnut Hills Retirement Community. He fondly remembers the many friends he made during his 25-plus years on the Outer Banks, and at the Times.
