Velcie Christenberry Dunlow, 75, of Jamesville died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Roanoke River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamston.

Born Feb. 21, 1943 in Beaufort County she was the daughter of Joseph Franklin Christenberry and Neva Roselee Sheppard Christenberry.  Velcie was a retired seamstress and member of the Plymouth Assembly of God Church.

Her family includes her daughter, Reba Lynn Dunlow of New Hampshire; son, George Allen Dunlow of New Hampshire; sisters, Vera C. Ange of Jamesville, N.C. and Lilus C. Vanderford of Metamoria, Illinois; brother, Joe Christenberry of Plymouth, N.C.; grandchildren, Kyle and Elizabeth Rose and one great grandchild.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.  Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
