Thomas Edward Freidel, Jr., 40, of Kill Devil Hills, died Thursday, May 31, 2018. Born Jan. 16, 1978, at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, he was the son of Deana Andrus Naungayan and Thomas E. Freidel, Sr. and wife Theresa Stamm of Port Charlotte, Florida.

Tommy was a beloved cook at the Jolly Roger Restaurant.

Along with his parents, Tommy is survived by a son, Laine Freidel; daughter, Skyler Wynn; sister, Amber Lynn Freidel; his grandmother, Joan Freidel; grandfather, George Freidel; and several aunts and uncles.
