Marcia Hamilton Lacks, 76, of Ocracoke, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Born April 10, 1942, in Richmond, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elenore Williams Hamilton and Marion Norton Hamilton.

Marcia is survived by two sons, Benny Lee Lacks III and wife Debbie of Orlando, Florida and Christopher Hamilton Lacks of Ocracoke; three grandchildren: Justin, Cameron and Peyton Lacks all of Orlando, Florida; and a sister, Gail Thomas Hamilton of Ocracoke.

Marcia was a veterinarian assistant and school teacher.

In keeping with Marcia’s wishes, there will be no service at this time.
