Robert Wayne “Bobby” Camery, 66, of Manteo, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Duke University Hospital. Born in Ft. Monroe, Virginia on Jan. 15, 1952, he was the son of the late Alice June Walters and Henry Edens.

Bobby worked security and radio dispatch for the Department of Transportation.

He is survived by his brother, Henry “Tony” Edens V and wife Beth of Manteo; two nieces, Kelly and Caroline; one nephew, Henry Edens VI; and friend since childhood, Gaston Midgett.

The family will hold a private burial service at Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens.
