Eula Austin Tharrington, 68 of Maysville, died on July 21, 2018.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Tharrington; sons, Kenneth Waterfield Jr. (Missy) of Stella and Craig Waterfield (Tammy) of Avon; daughter, Carolyn Creech (Joel) of Henderson; and step-daughter, Courtney Taylor of St. Claire Shores, Michigan; mother, Yvonne Austin of Hatteras; sister, Gloria Swain of Frisco; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Eula’s Life was held at noon on Tuesday July 24 at Kellum Baptist Church in Jacksonville. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment followed the service at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville at 2 p.m.
