Joyce Goodwin Culpepper, longtime Manteo resident, died of natural causes August 2, 2018 in Greenville, NC.  She was 70 and born in the Taylor County, GA area.  Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.

She is survived by her son and only child, Lance M. Culpepper (Janice) also of Manteo and other relatives and friends. The family honored Mrs. Culpepper’s wishes for cremation and will commit her remains back home in Georgia in the near future. No local services are planned.
