Michael H. Canny, 72, passed away peacefully at his Grandy, home Aug. 2, 2018. He was born in New York City, the son of the late Michael and Francesca Canny. Michael Canny had a successful career in lumber sales and served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era.

Mr. Canny is survived by his wife Maureen of the Grandy home; one daughter of Florida, one son of New Jersey and their families; as well as many other relatives and family friends in other states.

The family honored his wishes for cremation and will commit his remains to the sea privately.
