Tucker G. Freeman, 72, of Kill Devil Hills, died in Nags Head Aug. 2, 2018. He was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. Tucker enjoyed a long career in education as a teacher. After retiring, he enjoyed serving as a firefighter and getting involved in various outer banks civic and political pursuits.

His survivors include his brother Ross Freeman, Jr of Newport, Rhode Island. In accordance with his wishes, Tucker was cremated and there are no plans for services.
