Letitia Christian “Tish” Daniels, 63, of Wanchese, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at the Outer Banks Hospital.

A native of Wanchese, she was born Oct. 29, 1954, to Joyce Tillett Meekins of Wanchese and the late Charles Macon Meekins.

Tish worked as a bookkeeper, but her true passion was her children. A member of Bethany United Methodist Church, she was an exceptional singer often singing in the choir. Tish was spirit filled and served the Lord through her giving nature.

In addition to her mother, Tish is survived by her three children, Maria Daniels, Jeremiah Daniels, and Asher Daniels all of Wanchese; eight siblings, Myrtle Williams, Yvonne Austin, Minta Meekins, Affie Machie, Denise Mann, Charles Macon Meekins, Lish Meekins, and Elisha Meekins; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at Bethany United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Davenport and Rev. Kenny Midgett officiating.
