Minnie Bernice Farrow Williams, 84, of Buxton, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

A native of Frisco, she was born June 1, 1934, to the late Mary Ellen Midgett and Perley Linwood Farrow, Sr.

Minnie was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who spent her life loving and providing for others. She was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elliott Jasper Williams, Sr.; a son, Perley Jennings William, Sr.; a granddaughter, Sarah Fisher; and two brothers, P.L. Farrow, Jr. and Donnie Farrow.

Minnie is survived by three daughters, Sarah B. Fisher (Alan) of Illinois, Grace E. Berry of Newport, and Sally A. Wright (Wayne) of Buxton; three sons, Elliott Jasper Williams (Lynn) of Texas, William “Eddie” Williams (Linda) of Buxton, and Jonathan Emanuel Williams (Julie) of Buxton; 17 grandchildren; Casey Shorter (Shawn), Christina Newan (Jay), Eddie Williams (Jessica), Teresa Neil, Perley Williams, Jr. (Heather), Jason Williams, Rachel Williams, Nathan Williams, Matthew Fisher, Brittany Fisher, Kayla Palmerton (Chris), Joshua Berry (Tiffany), Seirra Berry (Justin), Brandon Powell (Eliza), Krystle Williams (Nik), Tyler Williams (Jill), and Dylan Williams (Azaria); and 27 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Max, Hunter, Savannah, McKenna, Levi, Ross, Abby, Olivia, Koy, Lydia, Sara, Dawson, Madison, Emily, Auston, Alexi, Angel, Teagan, Malachi, Emmett, Akari, Elijah, Elliott, Eastman, Preston and Kyndle. Also, surviving is a sister, Annette Farrow of Wilmington; and two brothers, Norman Farrow of Wilmington, and Everette Farrow of Avon.

A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Lighthouse Assembly of God. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Lighthouse Assembly of God with Rev. Eric Hinson and Rev. Raymond Hoggard, Jr. officiating. Private burial will take place at the Williams family cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives immediately following the service at the Family Life Center.
