Mark Richard Lukefahr, 62, of Ocracoke, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at his home.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on Feb. 20, 1956, he was the son of the late Mary Bane and David Lee Lukefahr.

Mark lived in West Virginia for 25 years and worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by two daughters, Renee and Mary Lynn Lukefahr; and two brothers, Jerry and David Lukefahr. Mark will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Lukefahr.

Keeping with Mark’s wishes, there will be no service at this time.
