Patricia Ann Davenport Kost, 84, of Plymouth died Saturday, October 27 at Transitions Hospice Care in Raleigh.

Born November 18, 1933 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Davenport and Annie Herrington Davenport and was preceded in death by former husband Robert W. Kost and son Karl E. Kost.  Pat retired as a clerk at the Washington County Health Department and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter Anne K. Turlington and husband Russell of Lillington; grandchildren Josh Waters and wife Natalie, Taylor Waters and fianceé Randy and Jack Kost and two great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held October 31 at 11 a.m. at Windley Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Hagwood officiating.
