Lulu Mae Mangold

Lulu Mae Mangold, age 88, formerly of Zelienople, Pa., passed away on November 2 while under the care of Culpepper Gardens Assisted Living in Arlington, Va.

Born October 3, 1930 in Emsworth, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Albert Neuner and Mary Selnacht.

After spending many years in Zelienople, Lu retired to the area of Hearts Content near Warren, Pa. After her husband, James, passed away, Lu moved to Hatteras, NC, with her daughter, Nancy. For the last several months, she lived at Culpepper Assisted Living in Virginia, where she enjoyed participating in several activities, such as arts and crafts. Throughout her life Lu enjoyed all holidays, participating in parades and contests. She also had a sweet tooth for lottery tickets. She will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Nancy Miller and her husband, Frank, Frank Mangold and his companion, Kathryn Haney Thompson, Doug Mangold and his wife, Rosa, and James Mangold Jr. and his wife, Alberta; her daughter-in-law, Ronda Mangold; her grandchildren, Emmilu Olson and her husband, Tim, Frank Miller Jr. and his wife, Heather, Rheanna Miller, Lindsey Erin Mangold and her companion, Daniel Lawson, Ashlei Spurlock and her husband, Brian, and Ensign Connor Mangold, U.S.N., and his wife, Taylor; and her great-grandchildren, Keyven Olson, McKenna Olson, Teagan Olson, Madelyn Miller, and Baylor Miller.

In addition to her parents, Lulu was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Mangold.

A private ceremony will be held by the family at a later date.
