Kill Devil Hills – Audrey Gloria Curnutt of Kill Devil Hills passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Chesapeake Regional Hospital, while in treatment for injuries from a fall at home on November 10.

Born March 21, 1929 the only child of the late David McClendan Wentworth and

wife Alberta (nee Price) both lifelong residents of Baltimore. Audrey graduated from Southern High and attended Strayer before joining the Butler Brothers retail supplier for the Ben Frankllin Stores.  She retired in 1975 after several years as the “Uncle Ben” customer relations manager.

She is survived by husband of 43 years, Robert M. Curnutt, and they had no children.
