Richard Anderson (Dickie), 70, died December 1 surrounded by his wife and daughters. Dickie served as a Merchant Seaman during the Vietnam War.  He worked as a commercial fisherman, then as a trawler boat fisherman up and down the eastern seaboard. Dickie was also a master craftsman and carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Anderson, his daughter Robin, his daughter Rosia, his son-in-law Aron, and his granddaughter Elle Mae.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, December 6 at 2 p.mm at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 48060 NC 12, Buxton, NC, 27920. Following the Service, a gathering of family and friends will be held at the Andersons’ house, 48302 Highway 12, Buxton, NC, 27920.
