Sally Gurski of Kill Devil Hills and Florida diedDecember 1, 2018 at 92 years of age. Mrs. Gurski was a native of Poland and was the only one in her family to survive the Holocaust.

In the United States she ran a bakery from the New York City area. Her husband preceded her in death as did one son. She resided in South Florida until she recently relocated to Manteo to live with her son, Joe and daughter-in-law Laura and their family.

Besides her son Joe Gurski, Sally is survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several other relatives. The funeral and burial were held back home in Florida. No local services are planned.
