Outer Banks Distilling and the North Carolina Coastal Federation will toast the coast with rum, oysters and more with the Toast the Coast Oyster Roast on Saturday, Dec. 15.

The oyster roast run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at the door. The ticket covers unlimited oysters from local growers (until supplies run out) and samples of the distillery’s rum lineup.

Beer by Lost Colony Brewery and Outer Banks Brewing Station, wine by Sanctuary Vineyards and sides by Green Tails Seafood and Two Roads Tavern will be available for an additional cost.

Oysters from local farms include Devil’s Shoal Oysters, Cape Hatteras Salts and Slash Creek Oysters.

The roast happens at Outer Banks Distilling, 510 Budleigh St., Manteo.

Ticket proceeds benefit the federation in support of its work restoring coastal habitats and water quality.
