Sandra Sue Sisler Morrison, 68, of Kill Devil Hills died Saturday, December 1, 2018, after a long battle with ALS. Born in Fairmont, WV on December 27, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Earlene Marie Todd Sisler and George Warren Sisler.

She was co-owner of Earthworks for many years. Her love for the Outer Banks and people prompted her to open Sandy Beach Tours and Scoot-Hers, which brought her much joy.

Survivors include children Sue Stafford, Tammie Hinson and Scott Sciegaj and grandchildren Dakota Briggs, Willa Briggs, Noah Hinson and Ellie Hinson.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion Jim Laughridge.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be a memorial service in the spring. In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made to ALS, SPCA or the American Diabetes Association.
