Elizabeth Marie Estrada, 36, died Friday December 14, 2018 at her home in Grandy. She was born on December 29, 1981 in Elizabeth City to Emilio and Susan Estrada. Elizabeth battled kidney failure (ESRD) for many years. She was at peace with her decision to end the fight.

Elizabeth spent her last few days happy and in comfort of many friends and family members. She was surrounded by her family and best friend when God called her home.

Survivors include her mother and father, Emilio and Susan Estrada; brother Matthew and wife Chevelle Estrada; brother Emilio and wife Khadi Estrada; and sister Erlinda Estrada, nephews, niece and friends.

The family suggests that donations in Elizabeth’s memory be made directly to Gallop Funeral Services to assist with memorial expenses. Friends and family may view and visit the family at Gallop Memorial chapel Barco Wednesday, December 19 from 6-8 p.m. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 22 at Poplar Branch Baptist Church in Grandy. The Rev. Tom Meyer will officiate.
