Robert “Bob” Allen Gabriel, 73, of Kill Devil Hills died Thursday, December 13, 2018.

Born in Norfolk, Va. on February 5, 1945, he was the son of the late Hermina Inglese Gabriel and George Gabriel.

A United States Air Force veteran, Robert served his country honorably. He was the president of Lifeguard Beach Service and Ocean Rescue and a member of Son Rise Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Debra Gabriel and brother George Gabriel Jr.

Robert is survived by children Nicole Gabriel of Kill Devil Hills and Bobby Gabriel Jr. and wife Lauren of Wildwood, Mo. and grandchildren Deacon and Camille Gabriel of Wildwood, Mo.

Plans for a memorial service are pending at this time.
