NC Cooperative Extension Cooking with the Seasons classes set

CURRITUCK – NC Cooperative Extension is hosting several classes throughout the year called Cooking with the Seasons to help you learn to eat with the seasons. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and have a $15 registration fee, which includes lunch, hands-on cooking and delicious recipes.

February 15, a hands-on root vegetable cooking class will explore all the ways to use these vegetables.

Kick the salt habit in 2019 by learning to season your dishes to perfection with fresh herbs and spices. On April 19, the group will embark on a culinary adventure that is sure to please your taste buds.

Pre-registration is required. You can register online at go.ncsu.edu/whatscookingsignup or by contacting the office at 252-232-2261. Class size is limited and reservations are made upon receipt of class fee. Payments can be made in person at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center or by mailing a check made payable to “Currituck County” to 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917.
