Jacqueline Smith, 74, of Southern Shores, died unexpectedly in Norfolk, Va. February 25, 2019. She was enjoying her life playing Mah-Jong, dining out with friends, walking her dog Trudy on the beach and making new friends. Jackie was also a member of Duck Woods Country Club.

Survivors include cousins Bill Bobskill (Nancy) and Susan Staves (Frank) of Massachusetts and other extended family members and friends.

Friends will host a celebration of Jackie’s life Sunday, March 3 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Black Pelican Restaurant in Kitty Hawk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jackie’s memory may be forwarded to the Dare county SPCA.
