Lucy Wheadon Snowden Perry

Lucy Wheadon Snowden Perry, 95, of Apopka, Fla. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Ms. Perry was a charter member of the Sand Witches Fishing Club in Virginia Beach, and a very active member of the First Flight Lions Club in Kill Devil Hills, NC.  She was known for her love, compassion, and caring for anyone in need.  She was caregiver to her sisters, niece and many friends before their passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Elizabeth Ann Snowden; her eight sisters; her one brother; her husband, William J. Perry, Sr.; two sons, Walter Lee Perry, and William J. Perry, Jr.; and two grandsons.

She is survived by her five daughters, Helen Phillips, Martha DeGaray, Peggy DeMasi, Cathy Jo Bernard, and Janet Sue Reed; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford, Va. with interment in Quantico National Cemetery.
