On Wednesday, March 6, Beaufort, Martin, Tyrrell and Washington county Farm Bureaus sponsored a DMV Highway Safety meeting at the Vernon James Center in Plymouth to discuss concerns of agricultural equipment travel to and from farms along Highway 64.

Officials from the District NC Highway office in Edenton conducted the meeting. Over 60 farmers from the four counties were in attendance.
