N.E.S.T. (Network for Endangered Sea Turtles) is hosting a night of fun, friends and music — all while raising money to help protect an endangered species.

The fundraising event is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 14 at Duck Woods Country Club, located at 50 S. Dogwood Trail in Southern Shores. For a $10 donation, you can enjoy an evening of music, dancing, silent auctions and raffles with chances to win many prizes from local artists and beyond. A complete barbecue dinner will be available for purchase for $10.

“Your financial support is greatly appreciated and will help us protect sea turtles right here on the Outer Banks,” stated a press release for the event. “N.E.S.T. volunteers are the front line of sea turtle protection during summer nesting season as well as during winter cold snaps that can stun and kill sea turtles.”
