Ready to play college football

Manteo High School athletes Claveon Rice and J’veon Tate have picked colleges and signed letters of intent to play football at their respective choices. Both are multi-sport athletes at Manteo High School.

Rice plans to attend and play football at Elizabeth City State. Tate will attend and play football at North Carolina Wesleyan.

The two athletes were surrounded by MHS athletic director Alfie Wheeler, football coaches Ashley O’Neal, Connor Butler and Sport Sawyer, football and basketball coach Timmy Charity and track coach Melissa Mann as they signed their letters.
