The Currituck County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrests of three men from Kentucky for two breaking and entering incidents that occurred in Corolla on Monday, April 29.

Around noon that day, while deputies were in the 1100 block of Austin Street in Corolla taking a report of a breaking and entering that had already occurred earlier, dispatch received information of a homeowner chasing two subjects who were seen coming from his residence in the 1100 block of Dunton Drive, also in Corolla. Deputies responded to that area, which is about a block away, and apprehended the subjects after a short foot chase.

Items found during the investigation linked both residential breaking and entering cases to the three subjects charged. Ethan Taylor Rabanas, 20, of Union, Ky., was charged with felony breaking and or entering (F), injury to personal property X2 and larceny after a B&E X2; Tyler Jacob Schuh, 20, of Burlington, Ky., was charged with felony breaking and or entering (F), injury to personal property X2 and larceny after a B&E X2 and Cameron Jeffery Becker, 19, of Hebron, Ky., was charged with felony breaking and or entering (F), injury to personal property X2 and larceny after a B&E X2.

All three subjects placed in the Currituck Detention Center under a $7,000 secure bond each.
