The Kitty Hawk Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in a business break-in.

The Handee Hugo convenience store located at the corner of NC 12 and Ocean Boulevard in Kitty Hawk was broken into on June 7 at 1:05 a.m. A yet-to-be-determined amount of merchandise was stolen.

A white male with brown hair, a beard and weighing approximately 150-160 lbs. was captured on video. The suspect was wearing a trucker’s style ball cap with gray front panel, red bill and white mesh back, blue t-shirt with Myrtle Beach Polo Club on the back, plaid patterned board shorts and brown deck shoes. The subject has tattoos on his outside right forearm and what appears to be a snake or scorpion tattoo on his interior right forearm.
