Dare County Board of Commissioners Chairman Bob Woodard presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Kelli Harmon at the board’s June 3 meeting to recognize her distinguished service to the nation and for the positive impact she has made in the Dare County community.

Woodard commended Harmon for personifying integrity and selflessness. Harmon is a U.S. Army veteran of Afghanistan and recipient of the Bronze Star. She was recently recognized as a 2019 Outstanding Combat Female Veteran of North Carolina.
