Currituck has added another online weather station. With a new weather station recently placed at the Carova Beach Fire Station, there are currently four WeatherSTEM stations in the county controlled by Currituck County Emergency Management.

The weather stations provide real-time weather information from locations throughout Currituck using the online WeatherSTEM stations. They provide detailed data, such as temperature, wind speed and direction, humidity, lightning strikes, rainfall, barometer, dew point, heat index and wind chill as well as a camera view of the sky and current conditions.
