Cape Hatteras Secondary’s middle school spring athletes receive awards

At Cape Hatteras Secondary School, awards were presented to middle school athletes participating in 2019 Spring sports. Middle school athletes participated in softball, baseball and track.

In middle school softball, these players received awards:

Lily Ratliff as Offensive Player of the Year

Casia Ensenat as Defensive Player of the Year

Emily Bayne for the Hurricane Award.

Middle School baseball awards were presented to:

Jason Torres as Most Valuable Player

Shayley Balance as Most Outstanding Player

Garland Midgette as Most Improved Player

Gavin Thompson with the Hurricane Award

For middle school track, two athletes received coaches’ awards: Alice Oden and Kevin Gonzalez.
