Columbia Lions serving the community

Published 9:33 am Sunday, June 23, 2019

Members of the Columbia Lions Club were up early spreading mulch on the playground next to Tyrrell Hall recently. This facility provides children a safe place to play and there are plenty of seats for parents, grandparents and others to sit and observe.

Lions Jack Donahue, Hubert Spencer, Reverend Joan Baston and Sandra Walker are fulfilling the Lions motto “We Serve.” Columbia Lions meet the second and fourth Tuesday at Columbia Crossing Restaurant at 6 p.m.

“Come and learn what the largest and oldest service organization is about,” invite the Lions.
