The Southern Bank Foundation recently made a $5,000 contribution to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation. A team of local Southern Bank associates, led by Jason Waughtel, regional executive and senior vice president for Southern Bank, presented the donation.

Patty McKenna, Relief Foundation executive director said, “Southern Bank and its team members share our concerns about how to help neighbors during a medical emergency. They have generously responded with this donation that we’ll use to provide financial relief and hope to local families who are struggling after tragedy strikes.”
