Kill Devil Hills – Donna Elizabeth Magruder, 75, originally of Arlington, VA, died January 9, 2020, at her Kill Devil Hills, NC home. Born February 21, 1944, in Washington, DC – she was the loving daughter of the late Donald R. Magruder and the late Frances E. (Betty) Magruder.

Donna attended Washington & Lee High School in Arlington, VA. She continued her education at Strayer Business College in Arlington, VA, graduating with an Associates Degree in Business Administration.

With her usual energy and vivaciousness, Donna enjoyed walking on the beach collecting shells and sea glass, going to movies, playing cards, reading, and spending precious time with family and friends. Donna was also an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church.

Donna is survived by her three siblings, Carol M. Bray of Wilmington, NC, Robert B. Magruder (Elizabeth) of Raleigh, NC , and Margaret L. Magruder of Fredericksburg, VA; two nephews, Tim Bray and Bob Bray (Nikki) all of Wilmington; a great niece, Heather Bray of Hampstead, NC and a great nephew, Jacob Bray of Wilmington; as well as her dear friend, Susan Perkins of the Kill Devil Hills, NC residence, and a life-long family friend, Dottie Rita of Winchester, VA.

Donna’s memorial service will be held at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Southern Shores on Saturday, January 18, 2020. The Rev. Cynthia Simpson will officiate.
