First Flight High School sponsors college and career fair

The counseling team at First Flight High School sponsored a recent College and Career Forum Panel.

Parents and students in all grades were invited to learn about post-secondary planning, such as career exploration, college requirements and applications, FAFSA and other financial aid, SAT and ACT and more.

The forum hosted various admissions counselors from COA, in-state public and private schools and out of state, including Megan Dross, COA director of admissions and recruitment; NC Wesleyan admissions counselor Dustin Midgett; ECU admissions counselor Kyle Cross; Virginia Commonwealth admissions counselor Robert Aveson; FFHS Carolina advisor Tania Gavino; FFHS CTE coordinator MaryJo Windley; FFHS school counselors Amy White, Beth Garrett and Lisa Wheless.
