Pound net sets proposed for Alligator River bridge vicinity

Janet T. Craddock of Manns Harbor is proposing a two pound net sets in Tyrrell County.

One pound net set in the vicinity of the Alligator River Bridge will be about 82 yards with one pound. The proposal number if #1999929.

The other pound net set would be about 20 yards also with one pound in the same vicinity. This proposal number is #1999937.

Public comments relative to the proposed pound net sets must be received prior Wednesday, Jan. 22. If it is deemed necessary, the fisheries director may hold a public meeting after the comment period has ended to take additional public comment on the proposed pound net sets.
