Cape Hatteras National Seashore reports that NC-12 between the Basnight Bridge over Oregon Inlet and Rodanthe has been intermittently closed Wednesday morning, January 22 due to wind-blown sand.

“As of 7:45 a.m., this section of road is currently open, but please use caution traveling through the area,” advised the CHNS post.
